BIOGRAPHY:
Mike joined Jarvis McGee Rice LLP in 2010 and became a partner in 2016. Mike’s practice has always focused exclusively on representing plaintiffs. He has extensive experience in representing individuals who have suffered soft tissue injuries, orthopedic injuries, neurological injuries, psychological trauma, and traumatic brain injuries from motor vehicle accidents, occupier’s liability situations, assaults, or dental malpractice.
The courtroom is where Mike was always meant to be. As a child, he would forgo Saturday morning cartoons to watch black and white Perry Mason reruns much to his younger brothers’ chagrin. He currently lives out his life’s dream advocating for clients all levels of Court in British Columbia. He is a regular presenter at education seminars held by the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia and the Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia.
What Mike enjoys most about his work is the opportunity to level the playing field between large insurance companies and individual plaintiffs. He is a relentless advocate for his clients, but is committed to listening and takes particular pride in getting to know the clients for whom he works.
Mike is on the Board of Directors for Working Gear Clothing Society, a non-profit charitable organization that provides job-ready clothing, work gear and safety equipment to low income or unemployed men in search of employment.
